What if I told you that freedom is not a destination, that it's not an idea or a 'deal' we have to make, that it doesn't even have to be a dream. What if I told you that freedom is just something that belongs to us, that is inside of us and that we can share, in each moment, something we can live continuously through every of our breaths.
For me, intentional work is paramount: working from conviction and from passion. Below I like to share the intentions I set, what I stand for and the values that support the work I love doing.
in freedom
Often people get stuck in fixed patterns, stiffen up, bump into walls in their thoughts, hold their breath, and hardly dare to feel and sense restriction in their movements. Energy can then feel ‘low’ or ‘heavy’.
At such times, people feel an undeniable need to liberate themselves, to re-li(e)ve. To unfreeze and be free.

As a therapist, I find it essential to create space and opportunities for different expressions of freedom:
freedom in speaking,
freedom in feeling,
freedom in breathing,
freedom in moving,
freedom in thinking,
in short:
freedom in ‘being’…
Together, we’ll create a free way of relating to each other: in sharing en bounding, with openness and integrity. In seriousness and with lightheartedness. From the utmost respect.
Full-ness is the most beautiful experience of the slightest moment in ultimate freedom within an ever-changing situation. In the quest we undertake together, lightness and freedom in your daily life are the directions we follow from our inner compass.
connected
In complex situations, we sometimes lose the sense of connection. We feel disconnected from ourselves or those around us as if contact with our surroundings or emotions no longer feels safe or familiar.
In therapeutic sessions, I perceive engaging in connections from authentic contact as the foundation for ‘re-setting’ yourself in the situation you find yourself in.
In the therapeutic relationship, you can discover that you don’t have to be unaccompanied in your suffering, and you can experience that you do not have to do the hard work alone: as a therapist, I offer presence, connection, expertise, and commit to assisting you where you need it.

"You have to do it yourself, but not alone."
On the journey through the therapeutic process, I want you to get in touch with what is essential, what touches you, what moves (in) you, and I want to bring you in connection with what is important to you.
encountering
In the authentic encounter with the other it is wonderful to dwell: just being able to ‘be’, without needing or expecting anything, being seen in who you are, being allowed to be yourself in your perfect imperfection. Going into an interaction of giving and receiving, in all simplicity and peace.

"A true encounter with 'the other' is to see and to be seen in what is real."
The casualness of judgment-free and receptive contact with the environment brings a serenity that creates room to pay attention to what presents itself in your foreground, where your desires and needs make themselves visible.
Through the encounter with the other, you find the possibility to encounter your deeper self, to unfold yourself: you become aware of your fears and desires, your sorrow or your dreams, the core of your being.
Together we’ll explore the unfinished business that keeps you from this realm of harmony and what requires completion.
en route
Life is a continuous trip: we are on a journey and come across a lot during the process. People around us and experiences along the way can make life beautiful, but sometimes also painful.
The therapy room is a place to pause along the way, take your heavy backpack off your shoulders for a moment and take the time and space to catch your breath.
As a therapist, I’m going to trek along with you on your journey, in a shared interaction of experiences and insights.

"Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage means feeling fear and yet following your heart's desire."
During the sessions, we’ll create moments of rest, to look back at the journey you have already taken, and determine the direction for your further route, or to take a break from the hard work, to enjoy the view and beauty in the ‘here’ and ‘now’, between ‘then’ and ‘soon’, and far away from ‘there’ and ‘then’.
I believe that every experience makes your journey richer and fuller, that every engagement can bring growth, and that every stillness creates space for a new engagement in a different direction.
